Blueberry Avocado Smoothie

We are hook with smoothies lately and since Summer is around the corner I want to start making a list of tasty smoothies to try. I love avocados with almost everything so this Blueberry Avocado Smoothie from Gimme Some Oven will hit the spot just fine. Not only they both are delicious but blueberries and avocado have vitamin c which is an essential vitamin.

Avocados, contains a large amount of healthy unsaturated fat, blueberries don’t but one cup of blueberries contains 114 milligrams of potassium, which is essential for blood pressure control specially for me since I am expecting and prevent preeclampsia. Not to mention, with this recipe you will be using chia seeds which are FANTASTIC source of OMEGA-3  fatty acids.

So not only because blueberries and avocados are tasty but they go great together boosting your brain health as well. WHY NOT to try it right?

Blueberry Avocado Smoothie

Ingredients
2 cups blueberries
1 cup pomegranate juice (or any berry juice)
1 cup ice cubes
1 Tbsp. chia seeds
1 ripe banana, peeled
half of an avocado, peeled and pitted
