  • 5 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp.salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cumin

  • 2 cups turbinado sugar
  • 4 oz (8 tbsp) butter, unsalted
  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp filtered water
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 and 1/2 tbsp Kosher flake salt, plus extra for sprinkling
  • 1 and 1/2 cup raw pepitas (or 12 oz roasted, salted, unchopped nuts)

Pumpkin Seed Trail Mix (Gluten Free and Vegan)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raw pumpkin/pepita seeds
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • kosher salt to taste
  • ½ cup large unsweetened coconut flakes
  • ½ cup whole almonds, toasted
  • ½ cup dried cranberries, I used orange infused cranberries from Trader Joe’s
