Oh pretty summer days, flip flops, sunglasses and of course the parties are from corner to corner. If you want to throw a summer party and don’t know what food to serve, here we give you some light ideas so you can have the best summer party! Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury® Crescent Recipe Creations® refrigerated seamless dough sheet
  • 1/2 cup Cheddar-Monterey Jack cheese blend, shredded (2 oz)
  • 8 slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled (1/2 cup)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (2 medium)
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 8 cherry tomatoes, sliced

Sunny Summer “Fruit” Salad with Sunny Citrus Dressing

Makes one big bowl – serves four
Leafy Green Base:
5 cups baby romaine

Fruit Mixture:

  • 1 pint fresh raspberries
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh chopped pineapple
  • 1 cup fennel bulb, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup chopped radicchio
  • 2-3 Tbsp sunflower seeds
  • 2 Tbsp capers (optional)

Sunny Citrus Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup fresh squeezed OJ
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp coriander
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 4 Tbsp olive oil

  • envelope store bought hot chocolate mix
  • 1  tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 cups ice
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Chocolate shavings (optional)
